Absolutely, we offer a test and lesson package for $160 that gets your driving before the test to get the initial nerves out of the way.
We find that taking the test in the car you learned in, with a bit of driving time before hand to get you comfortable, gives our students the highest chance of success in passing and getting their drivers licence.
If you’re looking to get on the road, getting from A to B as quickly as possible, automatic is far easier to learn in.
However, people often have the intention to learn how to drive a manual at a later date and never do once they’re comfortable driving automatics. We recommend that if you want to be able to drive a manual vehicle, to start learning in one from the start.
Learning how a manual gearbox works and how to use it is also important if you’re thinking of driving trucks or mining vehicles in your career. Emergency services, such as the Police, also prefer candidates to be able to have a manual driving licence too.
